Lucknow, May 21: Uttar Pradesh police on Sunday took to a micro-blogging website- Twitter to issue a warning to eve-teasers in a typical Bollywood style. “UP police will be your ‘Raanjhanaa’ – Stalk, follow and chase you all around. We are sure, you don’t want that to be the story of your life. So mend your ways,” UP Police posted on their official Twitter handle.

Raanjhanaa is a 2013 Indian romantic drama movie, directed by Aanand L. Rai. It stars Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in lead roles. The movie portrays Kundan Shankar, a character played by Dhanush as having a strong and obsessive one-sided love for Zoya (played by Sonam). As a result, he chases her around and ends up getting slapped several times.

Earlier also, UP Police tweeted a post featuring famous Bollywood stars, who had played prominent roles as villains, and their dialogues for trolling the criminals on April Fools’ day. In the light-hearted tweet, they posted a picture with dialogues like “Kuch to karan hoga ki villain anth me maara jaata hai (There must be some reason as to why the villain always dies in the end).”

The tweet featured Amrish Puri Amrish Puri’s Mogambo from Mr. India, Ajay Devgan’s Sultan Mirza and Emraan Hashmi’s Shoaib Khan from Once upon a time in Mumbai, among others with a caption that read, “Aisi dhing maarne waale apradhi ko aaj ka din mubarak (to the criminals who act cocky like them, our compliments on today’s occasion) #AprilFoolsDay.”
