Trust filmmaker Imtiaz Ali to break out of the mainstream and offer something brand new yet funky, even if it is a millennial word. Not to be left behind in shedding his Bollywood style, is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was seen donning a filmy cap as he inaugurated the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai on Saturday. Not only did the PM address the members of the film fraternity in a rather filmi style but also took time to reply to the tweets from them the next day. As the PM was busy with the numerous veterans and dignitaries present at the event, Imtiaz took a selfie along with Kartik Aaryan, Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijan posing for the camera, with PM Modi in the backdrop but oblivious to the picture being clicked. Since the PM had his back to the camera, Imtiaz and company felt like “losers” in this star-studded affair on not being able to get a picture with him. Sharing the picture on his Instagram account, Imtiaz captioned it, “Losers’ backfie with the honorable PM!” (sic).
Kartik Aryan copied the same picture and caption on his Twitter handle which caught the eye of the Prime Minister who re-tweeted, “Not losers but Rockstars! No selfie Jab We Met but there will always be another occasion. :)” (sic).

We are sure the stars are overjoyed with this special attention and acknowledgment. So much for missing out the previous day in the thick crowd of celebrities.
A couple of days back, a talent-packed Bollywood lot including Ekta Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty flew down to Delhi today to meet PM Modi and discussed the impact of cinema on Indian culture. The Prime Minister met the Gen X stars who are making sure that their flicks not only have social messages but also bring about an effective change in the society at large.
