Srinagar: Terrorists attacked an Army camp in Uri of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday night. However, a major ‘terror plot’ was averted after the security personnel of Army Artillery unit at Rajarwani detected some suspicious movement around the camp and opened fire.
As of the now, the area has been cordoned off and is being searched jointly by police and Army. Two persons are also being examined in connection with the incident.
The incident came a few hours after a grenade attack on a CRPF party near Palladium lane at Lal Chowk, Srinagar, injured three CRPF personnel, four J&K police personnel and four civilians on Sunday evening.
