India Women vs New Zealand Women ICC Women’s World T20:  India women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur smashed a record-breaking 103 off 51 balls against their New Zealand counterpart and former India opener Virender Sehwag was quick to lavish praise on her. Sehwag known for his quirky tweets was poetic this time as he took to Twitter to praise Kaur. Sehwag’s post read, “Harmanpreet Kaur, wonderful hundred. Great bat swing in a really zordaar innings , wonderful hundred. Great bat swing in a really zordaar innings.”

Kaur’s belligerent knock comprised of eight sixes and seven fours as it helped India eves post a daunting 195 for the Kiwis to chase in Guyana.

Meanwhile, Kaur became the 1st Indian player to score a century in Women’s T20Is and the 3rd captain and player score a ton in Women’s T20Is. Her innings was studded with eight sixes and seven fours.

Earlier, Jemimah Rodriguez also hit a brilliant 59 off 45 balls after India eves won the toss and opted to bat first.
