Comprehensive victory for India to start the one day series. Brilliant innings from Rohit ably supported by Shikhar and Virat, but Kuldeep Yadav turned the game in favour of India with that incredible spell. Well begun India #ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/HMALpfWvrl

It is Rahul’s turn to watch Rohit play eye-catching shots today. Indian batting is in very good health.

Good performance by our bowlers to set it up for #TeamIndia!
Clinical finish by our top order, led by @SDhawan25 only to be followed by a dominating partnership between @ImRo45 and @imVkohli. #ENGvIND pic.twitter.com/E72yBswB7R

The Indian camp seemed to be glad by the way the Indian team performed and most of them credited the win to Rohit Sharma’s 137* off 114 balls and Man of the Match Kuldeep Yadav’s record-breaking 6/25 in 10 overs.
And then here is how the English media reacted to the Indian victory.
The thoughts of the captain.

The English media seemed to have been impressed by the exploits of young Kuldeep Yadav for his classic show at the Trent Bridge.
Meanwhile, it was Indian captain Virat Kohli who won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first gleefully. It was Kuldeep’s 3 in 11 balls that changed the match on its head after England got off to a flyer reaching 73 in 11 overs.
India will now go to London brimming with confidence after the resounding victory at Trent Bridge. They will start favourites in the 2nd ODI.
