Australia vs India 1st Test: Ravichandran Ashwin again proved Virat Kohli for picking him over Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja as the sole spinner for the Adelaide Test, by scalping two big wickets on Day 2 of the first Test. But the wicket of Shaun Marsh was certainly the bigger wicket as he is probably the best Australian batsman. It was a classical offie from the veteran spinner, who brought all his experience into play. He tossed it up to Marsh forcing him to come out of his shell and look to go big. Marsh fell for the bait, he went for a booming cover drive, only to drag the ball onto his stumps. One felt he was not to the pitch of the ball and that is what led to his downfall, he departed for two runs.

Marsh has been in woeful form, he has not got a double-digit score in his last six innings and his highest score is 26 in his last 10 innings. If he does not get among the runs soon, Australia is going to have big problems as Steve Smith and David Warner are not there as they are serving bans. That does not make a pretty picture, considering it is a long four-match Test series.
Shaun Marsh is simultaneously the most in-form and out-of-form player in Australia.

Australia are 86/3, and they still look to have their noses in front, but slightly, a couple of more wickets or the wicket of Khawaja could tilt the table.
